The Arizona Radio Control Society welcomes everyone with an interest in modeling, whether it be airplanes, helicopters, cars, or rockets. Mustang Field is where all our events are held. All are welcome to come out, enjoy the field, and have some fun. You will find our members to be friendly and helpful and trainers are usually around to help those just getting started in modeling. In Arizona, we fly year round. The only problem is in the summer when the temperature can soar to 110 degrees or more, so flying during the summer is usually done from 6am to 11am. Come and enjoy Arizona's clear blue skies. ARCS Field Directions As of the middle of December, 2008, Crozier Rd. has been blocked off. There are large concrete barricades across Crozier Rd. at Bell Rd. The ONLY entrance to ARCS Field is from the East on Greenway Rd. On weekdays the Maricopa Water District Gate (MWD) is usually open from 6:00 or 7:00 AM until the afternoon. Visitors are welcome to come out to the field at anytime on weekdays. On weekends, you will have to make arrangements for a member of the club to meet you at the MWD gate for access to the field.
